Is Our President Drinking Again?

http://www.voccoquan.com/images/bush%20finger.JPG                                                        I know I'm not the only one wondering if President Bush is drinking again. The indications are there. Where is the main stream media on this? From what I have gathered, suspicions about Bushs' drinking alcohol again began to surface back in 2003...there abouts. Other speculations are that he is using chemical anti-depressants.

Why is the media so hesitant to bring this subject into open discussion? Sure, there is probably no proof...unless someone from the White House staff were to come forward with a first person account, or Mrs Bush were to expose his lapse, maybe out of love or concern for his health or the health of our country. But usually if incident after incident point towards a particular speculative scenario, that scenario is likely to be true or has a substantial possibility of being valid...if it smells like a dog, walks like a dog...you know the saying. Well, I'm  sayin' the evidence is piling up that Bush is either popin' pills or drinking or both.

Here is some of what we have seen. I guess we could call what I'm about to write...circumstantial evidence. We have witnessed our President...time after time...stammering and tongue twisted while trying to answer a simple question. This is classic chemical dependant behavior. Bushs' people point out that stress and exhaustion have taken their toll on Bush. Why hell yes...none would argue that Bushs' job hasn't been stressful. Some of Bushs' defenders simply write off his lack of the ability to string a few words together to form a sentence as just his poor public speaking ability. I can almost accept that position as valid, except he is getting worse. If we compare his recent question and answer sessions with question and answer sessions from say, 5 years ago...there is a marked difference in his ability to think on his feet...shoot from the hip.

I think Bush has also demonstrated extremely oafish behavior. He has made crude and humorless jokes, uttered inappropriate comments while in diplomatic meetings or situations, exhibited a short temper with his staff members and he has demonstrated paranoia towards certain press members who he is afraid will ask challenging questions...by excluding them access to his "invitation only" press conferences.

Also, what about all the time Bush spends at his ranch in Texas? He is spending more than 25% of his time at the ranch...more time away from Washington than any other president we have ever had...and while we are engaged in a war. His aides say he is clearing his head. Well folks, he's done a good job of clearing his head...there ain't much left in his head. Maybe I'm reaching here, but home is a good place to be for drinking in private.

Bush is emotionally detached from reality. If he has been drinking and popping pills on the job, those who are shielding him, those who act as his enabler or those who are complacent in acting to expose his chemical dependency are helping a deranged alcoholic damage our country. This is NOT patriotism, this is treason.

My question stands...why is the press, most of them anyway, ignoring the possibility that our president is driving our country while under the influence of alcohol and drugs?  It seems that alcohol abuse is a taboo topic with regards to Washington and our elected leaders. Sex scandal..oh hell yes. Love 'em. We have known alcoholics scattered through out our Congress and White House staff. Very little is reported about this unless one of them crashes a car into a barrier on Capitol Hill at o:early o'clock am. And even then, very little is reported.

Our main stream reporters will, with fervor and wild speculation, run down a rumor that Hilary Clinton didn't leave a tip after lunch in an Idaho diner, and yet completely ignore the possibility that we have a drunkard as our president. Many of our presidents have been drinkers. Many world leaders have been (are) drinkers. Many of the most powerful business people in the world are drinkers. There is a a big difference between a drinker and a lush. I think we have a lush, an alcoholic who acknowledged his problem and quit drinking, but who has fallen, as they say, off the wagon as our president.

Every one who voted for Alfalfa ...

Every one who voted for "this thing" TWICE ...

Every one who persists is keeping those silly "W" stickers affixed to their cars ...

Every one of the less than 1/3 recently polled who STILL thinks he's OK...

You should be ask yourself: "What the fuck was I thinking?"

You are responsible. You were/are an enabler for THE WORST LEADER THIS COUNTRY HAS E-V-E-R HAD.

Shame, shame, shame on you.
