I'm Angry
I am sometimes accused of being an "angry" person. Angry...I think I have this right... in that my outrage concerning some of the topics I address in my blog seems to be out of proportion to the importance of a particular chosen subject. I've been told I have a confrontational style. The disgust with which I address certain issues is too severe..... my tongue is too sharp. I can be confrontational and I can be hypercritical but I am not captious. I never seek out insignificant topics or acts that I can use to vent my frustrations or dissatisfaction.
I will however, attack acts of and those who commit acts of arrogance, moral superiority, bigotry, hypocrisy, dishonesty, violence and delusional thought (fractured logic) with harsh, direct and specific outrage. This is when I sound angry. The reason for sounding angry??? Yep...it's because I am angry...pissed...outraged...when a priest rapes a child or a president lies to America or Sen. Larry Craig is exposed as a bigoted hypocrite or Rev. Ted Haggard, one of our Presidents closest advisors, has to resign as leader of the New Life Church because he had sex with a male prostitute while using methamphetamines (OK... allegedly) or our Constitution and Bill of Rights are trampled upon or threatened.....or..or..or.....
I will not back down...I will not throttle back...I will not attempt to be less vehement, emotional or fervid with my criticisms of bad people, evil acts, stupid policy or flawed logic. Why would I? Why would anyone who has the slightest bit of interest in the betterment of our world? Silence is the same as acceptance. I do not accept the world as it is.

It’s your right, Slim, at least according to the Constitution that I follow. Assemble your facts, add your rousing opinions, weather the resultant storms and let the chips fall where they may.
You have a voice – use it. Truth be told, you will be dead for a very loooong time. Time to speak up.
